European Getaway

 It's Summer time once again, And I bet most of us had already planned ahead on your summer vacation itinerary. Now for those of you who have kids who are already out of school for your kids summer vacation, I can imagine their smiles from ear to ear, as we know they have been looking forward, for this time, so eager to go places and have fun!
 Well, how about going International this time.

Some of you probably already planned to go somewhere here in the US and some of us, will try to go for a European Getaway. And if you do, what country comes to mind?

 Rome, Italy! Yes, like they say travelling is very educational. If you want to see art and architechture,  Italians are pretty famous with it.. Remember, Michelangelo, an italian sculptor, architect, poet, and ingineer of the High Renaissance who exerted an unparalleled influence on the development of Western art

Here is the sample of his unfinished painting attributed to Michelangelo in the National Gallery in, London. The Madonna and Child with St John and Angels, also known as The Manchester Madonna

How about "David" This famous work of art that was created by Michelangelo on one of the most exquisite Renaissance sculptures made during the early 1500s.

Another Italian's most famous sculptor and  painter.  Obras de Leonardo da Vinci- One of his best known achievements is the "Virgin of the rocks", the Last Supper, and the creation of the  famous, Portrait of Mona Lisa and so much more.

Isn't it exciting that you will actually get to see these paintings in person?.. There is so much to see in Italy. Those historical museums and the art work of these famous sculptor, Michelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci, Donatello, and that's just to name a few.
